Jean.
I simply can’t get enough of denim.
It works for any look.
Today is a very groggy day, and I’m still fighting for a zap of energy.
I wanted something casual, comfy and cute.
This works.
I reached in my closet for a denim shirt. I decided to add a collar necklace for a little something extra.
I matched that with a pair of simple black pants and my favorite boots.
Voila!
Happy Friday!

Don’t you miss Lauryn Hill?!!!

Hon, words can’t even express how I miss that girl but I’m gonna try! I still remember the first time I heard Killing Me Softly and what I was doing. Hers is still one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to and at the time I didn’t have the album, and didn’t know the songs. But I was like 3 steps away from her and rocked out on her great energy and THAT VOICE. I remember what she was wearing- faded denim jacket, A-line vintagey distressed denim skirt… She was the one that made me flyyyyy to Selfridges to buy her Iman shade of lipstick- it had sold out at the time!! She was a rare talent of incredible unique beauty, she could spit a verse, sing like a song bird. And her style…
I try and resonate this with all the bad press she has got in the last decade- the rumours of her racism, tax evasion…
She was supposed to drop X more amount of albums, star in much more films, be brand ambassador of whichever fashion label, do more world tours…It’s so, so sad…
