Happy Tuesday! Five Things To Know This AM

With Fashion’s Night Out being on hiatus, Georgetown is starting it’s own.  This weekend, the Georgetown Business Improvement District will launch FAD.  It will celebrate the neighborhood’s fashion, art and design businesses. FAD will offer shoppers discounts, with more than 80 participants.  It’s too bad the lack of sales impacted the decision to put FNO on the shelf.  Maybe next year…

It’s official.  MIA is collaborating with Versace on a collection based on bootlegged clothing items.  In other words, it’s based on counterfeit Versace pieces.  It’ll be available October 16th.  Don’t worry about spending big bucks. It’s launching on Versace’s more affordable Versus line.

Marc Jacobs is leaving Louis Vuitton after 16 years with the brand.

Ruben and Isabel Toledo are collaborating with Lane Bryant to create a capsule collection of T-shirts and bags. This is Lane Bryant’s first designer collaboration.

Kate Moss is returning to British retailer Topshop to launch a 40-piece fashion collection in April.  She last collaborated with the brand in 2010.  It will be sold worldwide in 40 countries and on Topshop.com.
